My name is Una Archer. I am an Ofsted registered childminder.

I offer natural, unhurried approach to being with children. We do seasonal crafts using natural materials (wool, bark, willow, bits children find in the park, etc.), spend lots of time outdoors, children get involved in cooking, gardening, preparation and celebration of the festivals...
I make sure there is lots of time in a day for the creative play with open ended toys: small and large wooden blocks, veils, beads, etc. as well as other toys. Most toys are made out of natural materials and together with children.
I work very closely with the parents. I'm happy discuss every single aspect concerning the care of your child as I believe every detail is important.

Other features that make my setting appealing to parents:
- There is no TV in the setting, so children get plenty of time to interact and get busy playing
- Children look after the nature table which helps them to notice the seasons
- Most of the food is organic
- I can teach babies to sign (Makaton)
- I am happy to use cloth nappies and/or EC
